I just tried this on an thrombosed hemorrhoid I've gotten due to pregnancy. I was desperate for relief and I put organic Apple Cider Vinegar on a cotton ball and applied it to hemorrhoid for 30 min.

Not only did it not help, but I am in much more pain than I was before. I am now icing the area in hopes for relief. I've heard menthol rub works and I will try that next.

Been having a hard case of diarrhea and my hemorrhoids got so painful and bleed, it was unbearable, so I came here looking for a relief and saw all of the posts about ACV applied topically. Sure enough I've applied it over a wet pad and rubbed it on my hemorrhoid, there was no pain at first and I actually thought that I'm on the right way. Boy how I was wrong, it started hurting so much from the inside that I couldn't sleep at night and now day and a half after still in pain. Be careful and test before using it. I think it opened and hurt all the tissues surrounding.

ACV doesn't seem to be doing anything at all, other than making them more tender. I've been applying to one hem to see if there was any improvement. Nothing after four days at all. Perhaps mine have just been there for too long.

Going to pick up some Vick's and see if that helps at all. I'm lucky in that I don't experience much pain, but I would desperately like to get rid of the extra mini scrotums that have formed!

I've suffered from hemms for several years, presumably caused by my IBS and straining too much (due to the constant feeling that I needed to "go").

At my wits end, I found this site after reading about using plaintain as a poutlice (didn't seem to do much, if I'm honest, but I may try again) and decided that after all the positive reports of ACV on piles, I'd give it a try.

I applied a cotton pad soaked in ACV for 10 minutes yesterday and 10 today and the hemms have actually got worse as a result. They're much larger and a look more inflamed.

Perhaps I need to dilute the solution, or it could just be that ACV doesn't work for me. My advice: try a diluted solution on a small area first :(

I tried ACV too after reading all the testimonies here but after two days applying ACV it gets worse and more swollen. It didn't work miracles on me. The lump swelled up it almost cover my bottom hole. It makes me worried more. :-(

I have the exact same problem. Did the Apple Cider Vinegar end up working after a few days? It's more painful now & I have blisters from it burning me.

NEED HELP!! I have spent the last three days dutifully (possibly naively) applying the ACV treatment. It has made my hemorrhoid much worse than it began. It has never even hurt until now. I understnad this may not work for everybody, but I have not read a single review yet that made ACV sound like anything other than a miracle. What am I doing wrong?

Once a day, I soak a small wad of TP in ACV, place it on the hemorrhoid, and let it sit there for 15-20 minutes. It begins to sting after the first minute or so, and the sting worsens all the way until the end. It is then painful to the touch, and swollen, and noticeable the rest of the day.

I have been ingesting vinegar as well for a few days, with no side effects, so I don't think I'm allergic. This seems like such an incredible and widespread solution, and yet if I judged by my experience alone I would say it's the worst possible thing to do for your hemorrhoids. The opposite of a cure.Any other "miracle" solutions out there? Please help.

WARNING!

I agree. I take ACV orally and tried it topically for hemmorhoid type problem. It was the worst thing I could ever have done. Intense burning and swelling caused a normally 3 day issue into an extreme 1 week issue in which sitting was almost impossible. If anyone tries this, I would be very careful and wash the ACV off with any sign of uncomfortable burn.

Hello, I would like to tell you that I once read on this site that ACV would help ease the pain and swelling of hemmorhoids, so I tried it. Well boy was I sorry I did! It burned and stung like nothing else! It made my condition worse! So this may work for some, but it sure didnt work for me.

After reading several statements on your website regarding ACV & hemorrhoids, I tried it. After all, I drink the stuff and I truly believe in it's healing properties. However, I applied the ACV using a q-tip to the area where I had the hemorrhoids and I developed a very painful rash on the inner part of my buttocks, both sides! I wouldn't recommend it for hemorrhoid treatment, but it is good stuff otherwise!
