Apple Cider Vinegar on moles

I first tried the ACV on my arm as I had a large brown freckle that was growing darker and becoming slightly raised. I did a few sessions of covering it with some ACV on a bit of cotton wool and covering it with a band aid. It got red and sore and scabbed up. I left it for a while and then repeated the process and the next time it became very dark and scabbed up again. Once the scab came off it was normal skin underneath. It was slightly pink but I then would just dab a bit on after each shower until it completely disappeared. You wouldn't even know it had been there. I also have a small spot by my nose that comes up every 6-12 months, so I dab a bit on for a week or so and it disappears. I now have one funny sore that has come up on my leg about March this year. I thought it was just an ingrown hair, but it doesn't seem to want to go away and can be very sore and bleed. I think it's a BCC so I'm hoping and praying the process will work on this. I am going to start ingesting ACV everyday as well. Will follow up on how it goes. I've been treating my leg this last week for 2 days then gave it a break for 4 days and the sore has gotten smaller but my leg has felt quite achy. I am going to go hard out now for the next week using it every day and see how it goes. I am scared to go to the doctor as I've heard how having surgery can make them spread. I have a lot of moles I want to focus on in 2024 and see how many I can shrink!! Wish me luck:)

Anyone used ACV near the eye? I'm waiting for surgery to remove a BCC but started to use ACV. As I was careful to avoid my eye area, I missed half of the cancer. I have a hole ( which is now filling up with blood cells) where I was treating it. I've now stopped as I'm afraid of causing damage and therefore needing more treatment. I believe it was working though. If it wasn't so near my eye I would've continued.

I am VERY fair and spent many summers from age 8-20 burning on the MA, CT & RI coast in the USA and also lived in Sydney Australia in my 20's. First skin cancers started showing up in my 30's. I have had basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, and Actinic Keratoses. I have had Mohs Surgery, Excisional Surgery, Curettage and Electrodesiccation, Cryosurger and Photodynamic Therapy and also used a topical ointment (basically topical chemo). ALL have come back...yes even Mohs! The topical was the worst, for me.

Since they all have come back I really didn't want to do any of the "proper" treatments from the dermatologist anymore as they have failed me. Thank heavens for the internet. I started to do some research on natural or alternative ways to treat skin cancers. I tried organic apple cider vinegar with the mother and had good results.

Kind of hurts, cancer falls off, leaves a hole, then red mark. You can research treating skin cancers and pre-skin cancers with ACV. Best of luck and love to you all

I tried ACV for about 2 weeks on a dry spot on my face that I know was BCC. It surfaced after a day of golfing and I forgot sunscreen :(. It was a small scabbed up dry skin patch like the other BCC I had surgically removed.

After two weeks of using it about 3 times a day, the spot cleared up and the skin returned to normal pinkish color. It did sting, and bled some as it healed and it kept drying, scabbing, and then peeling/flaking off and then at maybe two weeks it cleared up.

I was concerned enough to schedule a Dermatologist appointment before starting ACV, and kept the appointment and they did not even discern the spot even though I pointed it out to them. I did not tell them I used ACV though but that I had noticed dry skin there.

Not sure how it worked but it seemed to clear it up for me. Not scientific I know but I certainly will wear more sunscreen and consider myself thankful that I found this page.

All the best and wanted to share.

I have had a number of BCCs surgically removed as well as a malignant melanoma and last year a BCC appeared on my nose. I googled a natural treatment as I didn't want a scar on my face (vain I know) and I found apple cider vinegar was great it definitely ‘removes' the BCC. However, mine does keep coming back every 3 months or so, so I just treat it again until it goes. This for me is far better than surgery.

Hi Kate,

I tried applying raw and organic ACV on my nose believing that the growth might be cancerous. Next afternoon I observed few pores turned black and few small white pimples out of which a clear fluid came out upon bursting them. Is this the behavior of cancer cells or is the growth something else?

I had a tiny basal cell carcinoma cut out of my forehead 10 years ago and not had any since until now. When suddenly and I mean suddenly, there was one a cm in diameter. I know what a bcc looks like at various stages so have taken no medical advice. I am a qualified homeopath, four years training but retired.

The one cut from my forehead was only a tiny pearl. This one now is a crater type with white margins. I immediately found this forum and set to with the apple cider vinegar, I have the one with the mother inside the bottle. Just two days on and there is a remarkable change. Two white covers, which removed easily and the bcc is just about flat and a very healthy dark pink. A tiny tiny bit of stinging this morning, nothing much. I applied with a (cotton) bud 5 to 6 times in the day and stopped at night.

I await two homeopathic remedies by special delivery this morning as I need now to go via the internal immune route too. I had a very close bereavement 5 months ago and the timing is right for something to have erupted. I cannot name remedies, so please don`t ask.
