Mole Remedies

A mole on my left cheek. It stings so I knew it was going to work, after the garlic dried a bit I cut it up and crushed it, I thought to add some vinegar to it which worked perfectly because it is an acid it works with the iodine to beat the mole! Make sure to crush it and put a bit of vinegar in, get a bit of kitchen role and scrunch it up, soak up the vinegar and make sure you get some garlic, the garlic sticks to the mole and works even better. USE IT IT WORKS.

i kept crushed garlic on the mole and covered it with a bandage and left it over night but it got worse, my skin was burnt by the garlic.

I just happened to notice this post and feel obliged to comment because of the use of Vitamin A.

A nevus is little black pigmented spot on the skin, sometimes called a beauty spot. Mine was flat, about 6-7 mm in diameter and near my neck and slightly elevated. It's been there for probably 20 years.

I dipped a q-tip in 35% food grade hydrogen peroxide and applied it to the nevus only for a few seconds and then mopped the excess with the dry end of the q-tip. It burned a little, especially on later applications. I applied liquid vitamin A a few minutes afterwards to decrease the burning and promote healing. I did 3-4 applications over a period of a week. It fell off completely after a week and has not returned. My wife was very impressed. I'm not recommended this approach, but simply reporting my personal experiment. I've been experimenting with Bill Munro's inhaling approach for a little over a week. It appears to be working well. My energy has just about doubled and I'm breathing much better at night.

Since about 1990, my parents came up with the use of vitamin A to clear up all kinds of flat skin blemishes, from "age spots" to keratoses to moles and perhaps-skin-cancers, and it has worked pretty well. My dad said he heard or read that Vitamin A kills cancer, if you can "get the protein coating that is protecting it off", so he smashed up some fresh garlic and applied it to the spot, having first created a mask to shield the surrounding healthy skin by cutting up some fabric band-aid material (I say fabric band-aids because other band-aids can damage the skin of the face. You may need to experiment.) so as to leave a hole the size of the spot to be treated, and applying the material around the spot.

Then the procedure is:

Put a small heap of well-smashed garlic puree on top of the exposed area and then cover it all with a big enough piece of fabric-band-aid material to hold the garlic mound in place (you may have to practice a time or two to get all this right, at first, and you may have to get creative with how you cut the pieces of sticky stuff and apply it to make the mask).

You are going to leave this on for "overnight" or up to 24 hours -- although the garlic probably loses its effect after 8-10 hours, and that is the best time to take it off. It is good if you have hot enough garlic that you feel a burn, but often there is no sensation at all, and if you do feel a burn it is short-lived and no big deal. In fact, you should press on the mound of garlic when the burning stops and try to sustain the burn-time.

Now, the most important part, after removing the garlic: Have a capsule of vitamin A and a fresh band-aid ready before you remove the garlic and all the band-aid stuff from the skin. (You want vitamin A from fish oil.) Pierce the capsule and as soon as you remove the garlic etc, immediately drip vitamin A on the spot that you treated with the garlic, and then also put some vitamin A on the bandage part of your fresh band-aid and place that over the spot to cover it.

Leave it on for at least a day. After you remove it, you may get a blister. This is good. When the blister dries up and falls off, you will have cleared up the problem. --Sometimes it takes repeating the process a couple of times to completely clear it.

(PS -- I have no idea if this will work for skin tags, BTW. I would try iodine first.) This should go under moles or skin cancers. If I get time, I will add it.

I have a number of moles. Three weeks ago I was excited to find possible home remedies within your site. (My GP's refused to get them removed as the procedure would be considered cosmetic.) I started treating 3 of my moles with garlic immediately, (just a slither to cover them exactly) and cleaning with H2O2 6%. The largest one, which was on my face, took really well to the treatment. Within days, it flattened and went soft and black. The area surrounding became inflamed. I believe this is not due to contact with the garlic, H2O2, plasters or micropore. It is simply the area reacting to what is going on. I then found out that you should only do one mole at a time (Immune system) so I kept up treating the one on my face and 'just' put ACV on 2 of the others (probably a mistake.) Anyway the one on my face started to form a yellow crust around the edges and 'dry out'. I did feel a bit sick for two days as I think my body was absorbing and processing the contents. On the 10th day it came off while I was cleaning it with H2O2. (It was just like a thick piece of dead skin) It is now day 17 and the skin is slightly pink and VERY tender. There is no crater though and I think this is because I didn't pick it at all. I let it do its thing and grow skin underneath. (VERY important.) However I think that a new mole maybe growing again! Nonetheless I am keeping it clean (H2O2), smothering it in aloe vera gel and keeping it covered. The problem is with the other moles! Once the one on my face fell off, I started to treat one on my inner thigh. It seemed to grow with the garlic treatment so I stuck to ACV. Well I had to stop that as the top came off twice, the mole has got flatter but bigger and turned yellow and the skin around it was coming off and underneath was black! I just went to my GP because I was worried it had turned cancerous or gangrenous. Luckily he said it just looks like an infection. Am now on antibiotics and painkillers (and feel such a fool.) I guess I was lucky with the one on my face. Notably the other mole I was treating I switched to smothering it in aloe vera gel and keeping it covered while I started on my thigh. It seems to be diminishing very slowly. I think this is the safest way to treat moles. Clean with H2O2 and smother with Aloe Vera gel and keep covered. It is a much slower process but much more gentle. If you saw the mess my thigh is in you would agree. My theory is moles might be caused by different things and therefore react differently to treatments. They also react differently depending on the type of body tissue they are in to be honest I do not know why I have an infection. Throughout my treatment process I have been taking 2tsp ACV in 1/2 pt filtered water daily, along with 3 cloves chopped raw garlic daily , and 1000mg Vit C (As ascorbic acid) up to 5 times a day. I also have kept the sites and everything I used very clean.

After successfully using this site to cure a sinus and cough problem that I cured with an ACV, garlic & oregano oil, tea in three days, I decided to take a crusty mole the size of my small finger nail off my upper back. I have had this mole for about twenty years and did not bother it much because I was told by my great grandmother when I was a small child that if you messed with a mole you could bleed to death...lol. I scraped it and started alternating ACV, h202 throughout the day and a paste of ACV and crushed garlic that I applied at night. I was impatient and picked at it when it started to dry out. It has taken a week but it has slowly come off. leaving a pink spot where there was once a scary looking black & grey mass. There is still one speck left in the very center and that should be off in a day or two. I was planning to have it removed before the summer now there is no need. I did not tape or put a bandage on it so I had no redness. At night I applied the ACV & garlic paste and let it air dry on the mole. I slept on my stomach. In the morning I peeled of the dried acv & garlic and wiped it clean with h202.

My remedy: I applied ACV and H202 alternately with a cotton pad throughout the day.

paste of crushed garlic and ACV applied directly on the mole at night. Remove with cotton soaked with H202 in morning.

one week later fresh pink skin where there was once a big ugly mole!

WORKED TEMPORARILY

Hi, I used garlic on one of my facial moles, however I only had temporary relief. I left a piece of garlic overnight on my mole using a band aid, the skin peeled off after two days. Initially it seemed like the mole was gone because the skin around the mole was raw and pink, however the mole reappeared in a few days. I feel that the size of the mole has reduced but cannot be sure since the area around the mole is still red. I had used tea tree oil earlier and the same thing happened.

Has someone else faced similar situations, should I try using ACV or garlic again? I'm pretty skeptical because every time I try a remedy it leaves the skin around the mole red and attracts more attention than the mole itself. Thanks in advance.

I have numerous flat moles on my face. Then I crush a garlic into paste, and applied them on my moles making sure they fit perfectly on my moles.(My moles are all flat moles by the way, with diameter about 0.3 cm ) . Then I put on bandages on them. I waited for 3 hours approximately and yes, I could feel a bit of pain at those moles(Well, at least I know it is working on my moles) . I took them off before going to bed at night , I applied baking soda and castor oil on the moles. The next morning when woke up , I took off my moles using a hair clip . It hurts a bit but it worked! . The moles were removed leaving a scar. After removing the moles , I applied coconut oil and turmeric , the scar is then removed a few days later. It actually depends how many times you applied them in a day. The more frequent you apply them, the faster the scar heals. :)

I'm so glad i came across this forum. I had a mole the size of about 1/8th of an inch in diameter. I cut a similar size slice of garlic, rubbed vaseline lightly around the mole, placed the garlic on the mole and covered with band aid. i alternated the second night with sea salt instead of the garlic coz sea salt has iodine (to minimize burning as some people had warned about). on the 3rd night, while cleaning it with a cotton ball dipped in warm water, the mole fell right out. left a tiny weenie hole that looked like someone had scooped it out with a micro spoon. i didnt apply anything else on it except for vitamin E from a caplet the next 2 days or so. The skin has since patched itself up and save for a tiny scab, it is healing well. I expect the scab to fall off in a day or two. Thanks to all who posted their experiences coz it saved me several hundred dollars for surgery when all it took was a bit of nature. I hope this helps someone.

Hey guys, so I removed a pea sized mole around my face about a little over a month ago with garlic, and I was left with a red spot for a couple weeks, then it eventually faded a little and got darker. How can I speed up the healing process for it to dissappear completely? How long did it take for your redness to go away completly?

I went to a dermatologist to check out the hyperpigmentation, and he prescribed me a bleaching cream which is supposed to lighten up the mark. He said first it'll turn red, (which it has), then it will heal back to its normal pigment, so now it looks like how it was when I first removed the mole--bright red.

I read the wonderful posts on getting rid of Moles - YAY! Funny enough, I remember as a kid my doctor used iodine to remove planters warts. I have decided to try ACV on my abundantant mole population. I do not know what I will do if it works. These moles have been a real source of angst to me my whole life. Never mind te danger of suntanning, etc. ANYWAY... I went to my chemist and was looking for vaseline, to reduce the chance of burning surrounding skin, when I thought about corn plasters! My moles are quite big but they fit perfectly into the hole of a corn plaster and the skin around it is safe. Also, it makes applying the ACV really easy. Although, I decided against covering with a plaster, you can and the corn plaster keeps the plaster off the mole so there is a bit of 'breathing space'! I'm only on my second morning, but I will def report any happy success. Thank you to everyone who contributes to this site. I'm five weeks since having a cancerous ovary removed and thanks to what I've read, am refusing a hysterectomy and will nurture remaining cancerous ovary and my body instead! THANKS EVERYONE!

My regular physician didn't even charge me for a mole removal. She applied a little liquid nitrogen and froze it. In a week, it just fell off. Ask your doctor if they will do that for you because it doesn't have to cost hundreds of dollars.

Mole Removal with Herbal Creams:

Would just like to advise anybody using a herbal cream to remove moles, that whilst they work very effectively at removal, in my experience they eventually (a couple of months after removal) leave a white scar which will never re-pigment. If this is preferable to the mole, then great, but please bear this is mind and maybe experiment on a less visible mole before trying on your face etc.

PS if anyone knows of a way to repigment a white scar, please advise (long shot I know).

My husband had a mole in the center of his forehead. It bothered him that he looked like a unicorn. So I remembered when I was a little girl that I used to hear my Grandma speak of different remedies, for different ailments. The one that I never really believed was the one about the horse hair to remove a mole. So one day my husband and I was out and about and seen a man on a horse. I asked him could I have a piece of his horse's tail hair. He knew immediately what I wanted with it. My husband said he wouldn't believe it until he seen it. So once we arrived home I tied the hair around the mole. Every morning after, I would awake before he would to see the results. 3 days later I noticed the mole and the hair was gone! I told my husband to pay extra attention to his face when he went to wash up. When he realized the mole was gone he was so excited.

SUN SPOT/LIVER SPOT REMEDIES -- HYDROGEN PEROXIDE

1) I needed some 12% food-grade hydrogen peroxide, one Q-tip, some vitamin E oil, a lot of faith, and a lot of courage.

2) I didn't need any Band-Aids, balm, toothpicks, and or nail file.

3) My sun spot/liver spot was a perfectly flat, round-shaped, dark brown discoloration of about 4 or 5 mm in diameter.

4) On day 1, I dipped a Q-tip into the hydrogen peroxide and applied it directly onto the sun spot/liver spot.

5) I held it there until it started to whiten and bubble a bit. It did sting a little at first. IMPORTANT: This may sound counter-intuitive, but I did feel lucky when it did sting. This way I didn't have to use a nail file, or toothpick, before I applied the peroxide to my skin.

6) I did this 6 times throughout the day, and always left the sun spot/liver spot uncovered.

7) At night before going to bed, I did not apply any Band-Aid.

8) From days 2 through 8, I let the sun spot/liver spot to rest. I kept the area clean, but did not do anything to the sun spot/liver spot.

9) Between days 4 and 6, I noticed that the sun spot/liver spot had formed a hard, crusty top cover to it.

10) No, I did not pick it off..

11) On day 7 or 8, I noticed the hard and crusty top cover fell off, leaving a light brown spot that looked like my original sun spot/liver spot. There was no crater, or hole to it. The only difference was the improved color. Its color had changed. It went from very dark brown color to a pale brown color. And pale brown is better than very dark brown.

12) On day 9, I applied vitamin E oil over the entire area. And, after that, it looked perfectly healed.

NOTE: This improvement is permanent, therefore I could easily stop at this point. However, in a couple of weeks or so, I might repeat these steps 4 through 12, in order to arrive at a little bit lighter brown color.

BETTER BUT WITH SIDE EFFECTS

Hydrogen peroxide - I used it on a mole and it left a scar. I will how it goes.
