I've been drinking 1.5 l of water with 3 tbsp of acv everyday and noticed that it wasn't really doing anything. My acne (really, really mild) stayed the same and so did my weight; actually it increased but that's just due to how me and my sorority eat. 4 days ago I was reading the more drastic cures for weight problems and sort of made my own concoction:

1/2 cup acv,
1/2 water,
2tsp honey.

I like to get unpleasant stuff over and done with and this cure is made to do just that. It has the same weight loss benefits as the classic 1/2 cup acv, 1l water and 2tbsp honey only you take it in one shot and you don't have to worry about it for the rest of the day. I use a straw; it makes it easier to gulp down and seems to be slightly less harmful for my teeth. I then slowly eat a couple of cubes of cream cheese (to neutralize the remaining acid in my mouth) and brush my teeth. The results? I have lost 4lbs in 4 days and 4 cms off my waist. I am not a heavy person, so this just shows that even people who want to lose a little weight just before swimsuit season can quickly (and relatively safely) do so. There is one con to it: after you drink it you feel a little queasy for about 15 minutes and I personally can't bring myself to eat breakfast for half an hour afterwards. As a side note: to give a better idea of the other things that contribute to my weight gain/loss, here is what I do every day: I speedwalk/ jog for at least one hour almost every day (minimum 6 days a week) but on the other hand I also LOVE pasta and milk products and haven't yet started moderating my caloric intake. I hope this helps; I just wanted to contribute seeing as I'm eternally grateful to those who have posted their recipes because I have never been able to lose weight this fast and still eat the stuff I love in the quantities I want. Good luck to everyone!

I take ACV 2TBS in 8oz water taking sips all through the day. I was bloated all month and had water retention 10 days before my period. I was miserable i tried everything, diet change, pills homeopathic, and my husband is a physician and he gave all kind of medicines but still everything just could not solve my problem. i was annoyed all the time because i do not know what my exact size was and i was restless all the time , never comfortable, in sitting or lying down. Then looking for cure on internet in homeopathy somebody mentioned earth clinic, and i went to the site, and from that day my life changed. After reading about ACV I got up and mix one TS in one glass of water and without thinking i drank it. After 10 minutes my head suddenly clear and then my migraine was gone which I have been having for the last 10 years every week and i do not know how many pandols i have taken for that.----Well for the last 2 months, I am bloat free, water retention free, migraine free, and i am feeling comfortable for the first time in last 10 years. I have lost 10 pounds and I know my exact size now. Plus I had very bad dandruff and hair acne and twice a week I have been washing my hair with ACV and after two months I am free of dandruff and acne. There was no change initially except my migraine was gone but suddenly after one month before my periods i started noticing changes. No bloatedness and water retention and i had lost weight. I am thankful to all of u, whoever started this site. This has truly helped me. My doctor husband cannot believe it.

Just try it. Even if u don't see results initially it will show some benefits, later. I am hooked for life and i am giving it to my teenager son and daughter.

I have been experiencing recurrent chest pain for almost the last year, all tests (ECG's, Halter Monitor and lots of blood work) indicated that there was nothing wrong with my heart so the doctors put me on one of those fancy (and expensive) proton pump inhibitors as they assumed everything was related to GERD (acid reflux). I am not sure if it was GERD that I had but the chest pain has gone away. As a bonus I have been shedding pounds like never before. However I do think that the weight loss is mostly water due to the fact that ACV acts as a mild diuretic. Interestingly enough unlike other natural diuretics ACV doesn't affect your salts/electrolytes because it contains potassium. Really happy to have found this website!

Since turning 41 four years ago I've had a lot of trouble losing the 15 pounds that I put on quickly when I entered my forties. Nothing has worked. I've tried many "diet" pills and a low carb diet, spending a lot of money on the pills, but nothing worked over a long period of time. Even power walking, which I used to swear by, hasn't been working. My husband's cousin tried the Isagenix diet with great success, but I didn't want to invest hundreds of dollars and have it fail, too. So I got on the internet one day and started to think about what natural solution I could find. I tried the "lemon/maple syrup/cayenne pepper diet/cleanse before, but it is difficult to stick with. Then I thought about Apple Cider Vinegar and began to read about it. I started taking _______'s natural ACV a few weeks ago, mixed with water and cayenne pepper, and I can really see the results as far as weight loss/water retention loss goes. And I haven't even started to watch what I eat or exercise yet. I can see the pounds dropping off and my clothes are looser. It's a simple, healthy, remedy that has other health benefits (vitamins, minerals, reduces stomach problems) and doesn't cost a lot! I feel like I've finally found that certain something that has brought my metabolism back to where it should be.

Apple Cider Vinegar cured my sore throat, sinus infection, loose stools, gas, lack of energy, depression, decreased my appetite, cleared up a dermatologic problem. My sister got me started taking _______'s organic ACV 1 tsp in 8 oz spring water 3 times a day. At first I tried it because I had a sore throat that was immediately gone, my sinus infection went away within 24 hours or so. I have IBS and have been battling foul-smelling loose stools for years. Within a couple of days my stools were formed with almost no odor. I feel 100% better. My appetite just dropped and I'm not getting fatty food cravings like I used to and I've lost 22 pounds so far. Also, I have had big painful butt boils off and on for years and my hindquarters cleared up within a couple of days.

I have been using ACV pills and Cayenne Pepper capsules to lose weight. I have been taking them now for three weeks. I have noticed a difference already. With a little exercise at least 5 times a day, nothing strenuous and cutting down on fatty foods and snacks have helped me loose weight so far. I have not weighed myself yet, but will do so after I see more results. Everyone is complimenting me telling me that I have been loosing weight. It feels good to hear that. My clothes are fitting looser and that makes me feel good. I don't particularly like the taste of ACV itself so I opted for the pills and the pepper not such a fan of the really hot stuff either but they work just as good. If you don't like the cayenne pepper use the capsules. You should take them with food so that you don't feel the heartburn or the uncomfortable feeling in your stomach in the beginning. After a few you will not have any symptoms. So far it has worked for me. I'll keep taking them until I finish the bottles and by then I should have shed more weight.

It's 2022 but I'll go ahead anyway... I was pregnant when I started taking ACV and Molasses not only did I keep the weight off I was overall very healthy and my doctor was pleased after each antenatal visit. But for some unknown reason, I stopped taking them and before I knew it, I was adding weight, bloated and puffy face with breakouts. This time I looked very pregnant unlike before I had a gentle glow. Needless to say, I went back to ACV and molasses.

I've been taking 1 tablespoon of ACV and 1 tablespoon of BSM in orange juice and water. I've lost 4 pounds in 2 days. I read on here that if you take the ACV in orange juice, that you don't taste it. That is absolutely the truth. I'm taking this combination 3 times a day and following it with water. If this is not a safe way, please respond. Thank you.

Has anyone mixed apple cider vinegar with blackstrap molasses for weight loss. If so, how did it help?

I don't know whether my answer will help you but for a while I took molasses and ACV, not because I needed to lose weight but for my health in general. I noticed that I started to lose weight so I stopped. People were starting to complain that I had lost too much weight but again.... I wasn't really overweight, so I don't know whether it will work for you! I never put the weight on again although I eat quite well!

How much of each did you use daily? Did you mix it together or with other liquids? Thank you for responding.

I forgot to mention that it has drastically affected my appetite. I no longer crave sweets, but, have noticed I like salty foods. Does anyone know if this is normal? I never really liked salt that much before this. Also, it does make me urinate much more than I ever have.

You will know if you're taking too much, but I'd say the amount you're taking is getting around the upper limit... If your Urine turns yellow, don't worry that's the fat getting excreted. You could always back off a bit till the urine looks normal then up it a bit.

I realize this is an old post, but wanted to respond for other people reading. I would guess the craving for salt is due to the potassium in the orange juice, which is not a negative. My understanding is potassium and sodium need to be balanced in the body; an increase in one can create a craving in the other. Wishing good health to us all.

I actually receive emails from Earth clinic and I put them in my emails to keep and reply or read them when I have more time. I happen to check every email from Earth clinic as my email list was really piling up and saw someone talk about weight loss with eggs? So I came online to Earth clinic and so far I have spent hours reading about ACV and weight loss but nothing about eggs yet? However, I spent hours reading and noticed Stella mentioning she had a craving for salt? Which surprised me at the time of reading, because I don't know if people are aware of it, but I found out quite a while back on Earth clinic another reviewer stating that ACV REMOVES EXCESS SALT FROM YOUR BODY WHEN YOU SLEEP HENCE NO BAGS THE NEXT MORNING? OH BRILLIANT I THOUGHT LOL However, Stella's message was from 2012, and MC from Texas, kindly told Stella the reason even though she may not have returned to Earth clinic? I was very pleased to hear that NM Gave an explanation as to why Stella might be craving salt? And they say it is because Potassium in orange juice craves salt? So if you don't take orange juice you might remove excess salt when you sleep and if you use orange juice with ACV you might crave salt? Very interesting to know! Because I like Stella don't like salt either and never have. So I thought I would mention it here, because it seems you might lose the bags under your eyes! Another health benefit! Yup I am all for that. Thanks NM!! Rosina Lock from East London

Apple Cider Vinegar, Blackstrap Molasses

I'm so excited that I found this great website, it seems like I'm addicted since I come here for all kinds of health concerns and I always find great advice from all of you!

I started with the ACV and the Molasses two weeks ago, my main concern was losing weight and be healthier, I feel good I had not experience any allergies or sinuses problems, but I had not seen any improvement in regards of my weight, I had cut down the carbs and I'm eating small portions and still have not seen not even 1 pound.

I bought the organic vinegar the brand recommended in this website with the mother, I take this vinegar 3 times a day before meals the first time I take it right after the molasses first thing in the morning.

I wonder if it is the combination of the 2 the vinegar and molasses that is not allowing me to see any results in regards of the weight. Please advice. Thanks.

It has been around 3 weeks and I had finished two bottles of ACV with BSM in it, every 3 times a day hoping to see a drop in my weight but to no avail. One week ago, i have this terrible headache and dizzy spell and it even caused me to throw out very badly.I even realised that I've gained 2 kg since i started on the remedy. I did not give up and continue the remedy thinking that it must be a correction. This time round I even add in psyllium husk to my drink to help on my constipation problem. Guss what, it is indeed a correction (keep my finger cross), I feel more energized, all my skin problems eg. cuts and acne healed faster and i started having regular bowels everyday. No more aching back and I've got lesser food craving nowadays. I am doing more study on VCO and shall keep you guys posted on my statues.

I take a daily concoction of 1 tsp ACV, 4 ounces of unsweetened cranberry juice, 12 ounces of water, and half of a squeezed lemon. It's part of an eating plan and it's said to help cleanse the liver. All I know about it after seven days is that I feel generally better. I am prone to UTI's so the cranberry is definitely helping, and I've lost 4 pounds in eight days. (Of course, I'm following a prescribed plan of eating all natural foods and eating every three hours). It's a bitter drink, but I'm still drinking it!

In response to Michelle from Houston, TX -- If the drink is bitter, try adding some grade b maple syrup to the mix. Although its adding some calories, your also adding some vital nutrients which will give you energy and good health. I highly recommend it over honey any day! (Goes well in tea too).
