Hi Ed - I believe the following is the original (Canadian) Essiac:

https://www.essiac.ca/store/pc/home.asp

It says the formula has been trusted worldwide since 1922. Looks authentic (they warn against counterfeits and the product has the picture of Rene Caisse on the label - "Caisse" spelled backwards is "Essiac").

Hope this helps! Cheers, Bess

Hi Bess, I doubt that is a original site, you can see their company name is different. Most of the sites warn about fake essiac. I am not sure. Today, I saw the essiac bottle in a health food store. The website mentioned in that bottle was different and the website is not working. thanks

Hi Ed, I bought the original 4 herbs from anursesherbaltea site and made my own tea. I made a gallon and take 2 oz. per day, so it lasts quite awhile. I put it in (4) quart jars and it keeps in the refrigerator. Best wishes!

Hi Rsw, thanks for your reply. Are you taking essiac tea for any particular ailment or general health? How do you feel after taking it. Thanks

Hi Ed, I was trying to rid myself of Lichen Planus by following Daisy's lead of taking essiac tea tonic which cured her of LS, a relative of LP. I thought I might be making some progress but a recent visit to my dentist had him saying he sees no difference. I feel the same but it falls into the "can't hurt, might help category", and in Daisy's defense, I wasn't following her protocol exactly by using the tea itself instead of the tonic. I have seen people who say they have cured themselves of cancer with the tea, so I don't want to discourage it's use just because I'm not getting the results I had hoped for. Best wishes!

Flaxseed Oil

Posted by Tommy (North York, On, Canada) on 11/14/2010

Hello everyone,
I just wonder if someone could tell me where to buy the flax seed oil from Toulouse in France. I asked my sister who lives there to buy but she couldn't find it. It's called in french '' l'huile de Lin'' right? or '' L'huile de grain de Lin''? Thank you so much.

Hi Tommy, yes, it is called huile de lin. Although I live in France I don't think that I have ever bought it here as I live next to Germany and Switzerland and I buy most of my stuff in those two countries. You could try the health shops or otherwise pharmacies with a health section as I think they have it in capsules. That is also better because of the oxidation. Otherwise you will have to try online but I think that I have bought it in a pharmacy here...

Dear Darrel: Based on customer feedback through my private email, buy only those product clearly labeled with the words "fulvic acid". The link you are providing won't work well.

that's a good location. I found an additional website for fulvic acid: www.purefulvicminerals.com.

It has a lot of further research on the process of making fulvic minerals and different testimonials, etc. etc.

I just received a prompt response from NOW Foods about the fulvic acid content of their colloidal mineral products. Based on what you already told us, I think they mean that 50 to 74% by DRY weight is fulvic acid, which should fit within your specs!! They have no numbers on humic acid content, but probably the balance is humic acid. Interestingly, this product costs only one-third of the Vital Earth fulvic mineral complex you reviewed the other day. What are your thoughts?

Hello Ted: I am so glad that you checked out the ingredients as listed on NOW Foods website because for some reason they include more compounds than the list on the iHerb.com website (www.iherb.com/store/ProductDetails.aspx?c=Herbs&pid=NOW-01406) where I purchase my supplies. This may be a recent revision of the formulation or perhaps their idea of "new and improved!" Lucky for us, however, the listed ingredients for the regular flavor (no flavor) product at the NOW Foods website (www.nowfoods.com/index.php?action=itemdetail&item_id=3345) does not include these other less than desirable compounds, and thus that is the one I am going to order. It seems that at last with your gracious and generous help we have found something acceptable and reasonably priced right here in the good old U.S.A. Thanks again for all the generous help, and I hope that Earth Clinic would post this information for others to benefit from as well. Have a great week

Can you provide the name of the product Ted okayed at Now foods? I'm quite confused as to where to find what he or Bill Thompson would find acceptable. TIA!

"Pure Bulk" located in Oregon USA is a top seller. Any number of merchants who sell and ship worldwide have Ebay domains. Amazon is also a major distributor that has worldwide shipping policies w/ thousands of merchants.

Glutathione is somewhat expensive but effective if taken particularly by Liposomal Encapsulation. The best oral way to boost natural GTH levels is taking the amino acids Glutamine, Glycine, and NAC, and the hormone Melatonin (before retiring). Some shipping restrictions may apply to certain countries. Whey Protein Powder is also a great source of GTH precursors.

Glycerin- Free Hair Products

Posted by Sheila (San Diego, Ca, Usa) on 04/30/2011

Hi All,

Does anyone know of any brand that has glycerin-free hair care products, and also soap, lotion, etc.?

Biogenel is one I've found, but I dunno about it since there seems to be a form of glycerin still in the ingredients of their shampoo.

I'm looking for glycerin-free to experiment and see if what I read on this website about glycerin is true. Thanks! The_murdocks2004(at)yahoo(dot)com

Hibiscus

Posted by Jng (Sheffield, Vermont, Usa) on 04/28/2012

We came across the posts about hibiscus tea and decided to try using hibiscus. It has been a godsend. Thank you to all who have posted about it. Individuals have asked about a source of hibiscus for tea. We found that davidsonstea.com (Davidson's Organics) sells hibiscus (whole flowers as well as cut and sifted like loose tea) and hibiscus blended with other herbs. They are available in one pound (454 g) bags and as tea bags. The products are also available at amazon.com. There are probably other sites that sell the products as well. We hope the above information proves helpful.

Humic Acid

Posted by Ed2010 (Oakville, Canada) on 02/07/2013

There are variety of Humic acid and Fulvic acid products. Shilajit is one among them which is available in the Himalayas. Many indian companies sell shilajit in their brand names. I absolutely believe it will work for general health or for someone with serious illness. Even Ted recommends Humic Acid for UC.

Online, there are various companies that sell these supplements and they claim it to be superior. I am curious, has anyone used the Leafsource products which they claim is 100 million years old that is obtained from New Mexico. Most of their webpages are made with images, no contact information, no NPN. They claim to have patent and some other certification.

My advantage is I can get this leafsource product easily in my local health store to try. Has anyone used it before? Or which is the best brand?

Good Health and Thanks

Humic Acid
Posted by Brandie From Alabama (Eight Mile, Alabama) on 02/24/2012

From reading various posts, I see the trouble with finding humic acid. I had the same problem so I can relate. I found 100% humic acid from BioAg. It is in liquid form but it is also from a reliable source. I have ulcerative colitis and, like everyone else, am desperate for a cure. I purchased the humic acid as a part of Ted's remedy. GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE!

I have an almost exactly similar question regarding humic acid. I am only able to find humic acid in the tablet form online and was wondering if the tablet is just as effective as the liquid. And if it is not as good as the liquid, where can one buy the liquid form of humic acid? Thanks!

Hi Rick, I'm looking fulvic or humic acid too. I think it can be bought at local garden nurseries and I saw some on Ebay. The nurseries don't charge much and they seem to be less diluted. I don't know which is best or safe for humans to eat though. I think I've come across Ted talking about the powder form, not sure what his take on the liquid.

I have found fulvic acid on the internet that is for human consumption and it is a fairly decent price as well. I think Earth Clinic is allowing us to post products regarding fulvic acid and humic acid due to the difficulty it is to find them. But like I said I have not found Humic acid which is what I am personally interested in. For the two products of fulvic acid I found though just go to google and type in "Pure Fulvic Minerals" for one of the products, and for the other type in "Optimally Organic fulvic acid". Not sure which product would be better, I have never used either of them. I'm new to the humic and fulvic acid treatments. But I can't find Humic acid anywhere unless it's in a tablet form!

Hi Rick, I'm still searching too. Thanks for these leads. Been reading that many sources come from China and sometimes carried in rusted metal trucks. I was looking into buying some from a plant nursery but came across a review on Amazon for such that they did a lab test and it contained lead and arsenic. It was a person with the AMazon Real Namee Badge saying "This particular formulation (Huminova FAP 70%) contains 10% Lead and 5% Arsenic. (Based on sample tested in the lab 30 July 2010. )" I guess I won't be taking that shortcut. I saw another website that looked promising and at the bottom it talks about the different locales humic acid is processed and the problems. They get theirs from south east USA and say they did the lab work to show it is good quality and no heavy metals. http://www.optimallyag.com I sent them a question asking if its safe for humans. God bless!

I know of two sources: Source Naturals has ImmuNow with humic acid and there is the original European formulation, Humicin, sold now in the US. They differ in price and potency. I do not know which is stronger.

The best place I've found for Humic Acid for human consuption in liquid form is nano health solutions.com Fulvic acid I get from a company called bioag.com I hope this helps. All of this was recommended to me by my doctor(yes an MD) who is practicing alternative medicine. He's sick and tired of watching how pharmaceutical companies control the medical industry. He remains a certified MD but fights the status quo and really helps his patients.

Iodine

Where can I get iodine supplements like lugols or the tablets in India (tablets or liquid? where can I get Kelp tablets? Thanks a lot.

Iodine
Posted by Nattakit (Bangkok, Thailand) on 10/22/2011

I've found a pharmaceutical factory in Thailand producing Lugol's 5% solution. They produce for veterinary use. I talked with the pharmacist and managing director and was told that though it is meant for veterinary use, human use should be O.K. As the production standard is equivalent to human drug. Besides it's a B.P. Formula that is accepted the world over. You may contact them and ask for small bottle with dropper (not offered in their standard size bottle). The email address is [email protected].
