Heal Boils Naturally: Effective Home Remedies

Groin Cyst / Boil Cure: I scoured the web for solutions and testimonials for my wife's very painful groin cyst. I found the stories about Tumeric (and many other alternatives) and I suggested she try it. She took a teaspoon in warm water each day over a couple of days and it was completely gone! No trace. We were both so amazed and inspired there are simple solutions around for such problems!

Turmeric brought my boil to a head in 3 days:

I was kinds skeptical about buying Turmeric, but I will be darn! This stuff brought my painful recurring boils to a head in 3 days. I followed the instructions from the site, had my husband stop by the local Publix and pick me up some around $4.00. I took it with Apple Juice after sampling it by itself (YUCK).

I took it internally and applied it externally overnight. The next morning, I woke up, it was oozing pus, blood, and clear liquids. WHOO HOO! I had been in pain for 2 days already. This hasn't kept me from outbreaks but it does help slow them down.

I tried out the turmeric cure for boils--since I don't mind the taste I mixed ~1/4 tsp turmeric powder into a couple bites of food (oatmeal in the morning, cole-slaw, tomato juice, etc.) 3 times per day for two days. I also applied a paste of turmeric powder and neosporin directly to the boil. The turmeric quickly got rid of a genital boil.

I also want to report an unexpected benefit from the turmeric. I have been suffering from insomnia for about two years, and have tried many things, both conventional medicine and alternative cures I've read about on this site. ACV or ACV + baking soda, vitamin D, coconut oil, raw garlic, lemon or lime juice, cognitive behavioral therapy, blue light therapy, and 1/2-2 mg lunesta taken on occasion have all helped somewhat. But esp. in the winter and/or around my menstrual period or when travelling I have continued to have real trouble both falling and staying asleep. One night last year I did a sleep study at a local clinic, and they recorded me being awake for the entire night. They had no suggestions for how to fix my problem, since I don't have sleep apnea. Diagnosis: insomnia related to perimenopause.

The genital boil appeared just before my menstrual period (the usual time for it to appear), which is also the time of the month I begin to have the most trouble with sleeping. BUT, after using turmeric, I've been able have restful sleeps--DURING MY PERIOD!!!--three nights in a row now. This is a true miracle. I'm going to keep using the turmeric (maybe I'll buy some capsules, will carefully inspect for extra ingredients).

Turmeric works really well for boils.

Shortly after having surgery last year, I started having reoccuring boils. I went to the doctor and they gave me one of the strongest antibiotics there is. It made me sicker than I was before I took it. I went back and they put me on other antibodies that worked but it took about two weeks to see results. The boils reoccured and I knew I had to do something different.

While searching this site I saw the article about using Turmeric. I tried it and it worked. First, I put about two spoonfuls in yougurt and ate it that way. It worked but my mouth was a dark orange. While at the health food store I saw some empty gelatin capsules and came up with the idea to make my own capsules of turmeric only. The capsules in the store was twenty dollars. Making my own capsules worked very well for me. Every time they start to reoccur I take about 5 capsules 3 times a day and within two days I am free from the boils.

Tumeric really works - no two ways about it! I was truly amazed, and had used tumeric in the past with great success. I noticed my boils on my mons returned pending 'that time of the month' and after a night of drinking. Any connection? Of course.

The boils were so painful, extremely swollen it made it nearly immpossible to walk. They were over an inch in size, I was besides myself, and then remembered tumeric. Took two that afternoon and took another two that night, and by morning, one had already broke on its own and started to drain. Relief was in sight!

I will try the 'core' pulling thing with a pop bottle - in the future should I need to, since obviously the core is still in there. But it is a nice relief to be able to sit, walk, jump or do anything with glee. I will make sure to take one capsule a day for the rest of my life... it's as simply as that!

TURMERIC is the best remedy I have found to heal my boils. Found this site 2 weeks ago and it is the best for alternative cures. I am 55 y/o and have suffered from boils/cysts since I was 2 y/o, after a long stay in the hospital. Usually the boils would appear in the most private ares and all manner of ointments, doctors, antibiotics, hot compresses, squeezing, homemade ointments nothing has worked as well as TURMERIC. I had the largest boils I have ever had in my life right in the middle of my upper back they were the size of two extra large eggs and the most painful I had ever experienced and in a spot that was very hard to reach. So they remained coming and going for about two years. This time they came back with a vengeance I could not endure any clothing to touch them. I found this site read the comments on turmeric. I went to the grocery store bought turmeric powder took a heaping spoonful 3x a day AWEEEEEEE!! with a large glass of water and made a paste with warm water, On day two I woke up to the stink of pus that was running down my back the amount of which was mind boggling to me. I continued the turmeric paste and drink two more days by then a scab was on the boils and the pain was reduced. I ordered turmeric capsules. I take 2 caps three times a day. The boils are now small humps the position they are in did not allow for me to remove the cores so I hope they don't cone back. What's up with this core thing because even though I have removed the cores in the past they would still come back many times in the same place or area? I will take Turmeric for the rest of my life. Hey - I just wanted to give feedback about turmeric and boils/staph. My son had what we thought was a spider bite except it grew and had puss in it. The doctor lanced it and said it was staph but that the lancing would take care of it. A week later I got a boil on my leg. They lanced it but didn't biopsy it. I didn't think much of it but two weeks later another one started on my belly. I freaked out because I had just read about MRSA. I came onto this site and decided to try the turmeric remedy. I warmed about 1 oz of soy milk and added 1 tablespoon of turmeric and a little Equal 3 times a day. The boil hadn't broken the skin yet but the entire area was itchy and bright red and you could see where the boil was coming up. Well, I am AMAZED. After 4 days, the boil was completely gone. OMG! I am 26 and have been suffering from perodic boils since puberty. I've always used the hot compress or sitz bath method up until my last boil I actually had to have lanced and drained. It just refused to go away.

When he got home I immediately mixed a 6oz glass of water with 1 tsp of turmeric and chugged it down. Yes, it tasted horrible but it was nothing compared to the pain of being lanced because of an infected boil/abcess.

whoo hoo. a remedy thats works. i just try the turmeric power after reading the comments. I been suffering with boils for two year now. nothing works. usally the boils would last about 2 to 3 weeks.yea that long. try the turmeric and the boils went down in size in about two days.AMAZING!!!!! I usually have the boils on my inner thighs. but lately I have been getting them on my butt. This month i had it, which I'm embarrass to say but I got two on my lower labia. which never happen before. it was the size of a grape. in the beginning before it develop into a boil, it was painful.couldnt sit down. when it grow the pain stop.it seems to be getting worse. decided to try something different. but can you imagine making love to your husband with two lumps down there.I dont think so. anyways the boils are smaller. i will continue to take turmeric everyday even when i dont have one. warning. mixing turmeric power in water is HORRIBLE. couldnt drink it. throw up half way thru. After reading about turmeric on your site, we decided to try it to help with my husband's boil?? on the back of his hand. It was the second one ever with the first occurring only a couple of months before - also on his hand. We purchased a large quantity from the local Indian grocery and saw rapid improvement. It's hard to attribute all the healing to the turmeric since a friend wrote him a script for an antibiotic but I really think it helped immensely and so does he. His hand was very swollen with heat and a nasty looking head on the boil (it's completely gone now except for a scar). The swelling went down super quick once he started the turmeric. He is a somewhat fanatical hand washer/sanitizer so it's surprising he would get something like this. He does work in a nursing home environment so we are wondering if that has something to do with it. Hopefully there won't be a next time but if there is we will also be taking a trip to the dermatologist to have it cultured. To never have one in 49 years then turn up with 2 over the space of a couple of months seems very odd. After a while he said he actually enjoyed his warm turmeric drink - ugg.

Wow, where do I begin? I'm in my mid twenties with great health. I generally eat wholesome foods, don't take legal or illegal drugs, and might get a cold once every couple of years but that's it. Here's my Staph Infection Nightmare Story.

I decided to travel abroad for a year as the economy was already spiriling downward at the end of 2007 and I had some money saved up. During this journey, I spent a couple of months in Cuba at which time, most likely due to poor nutrition and hygiene in the country, acquired my first Staph Infection which I initially thought was a spider bite. The reason I believed it to be a spider bite is that my cousin came back to The States from the Dominican Republic with a bunch of spider bites that looked almost exactly the same as my Staph Infection. I began to take some left over Amoxicillin prescribed from the removal of my wisdom teeth that I was traveling with. The amount I had was not enough to completely attack the virus so it came back stronger but this time on my neck. Here's a picture.

The pain was excrutiating and I literally felt like I was going to die. My neck throbbed with every heartbeat and gave me a horrible constant piercing headache. I never get sick and this put me down for almost a week with soarness throughout my body. I hate taking meds but broke down and went back on the Amoxicillin. After a few days it started to go away finally. A few weeks later I got a horrible ear infection in my right ear that eventually shifted to my left ear and then apparently came out of my middle finger as a huge boil. My finger was literally three times as thick as normal. Again Amoxicillin was taken only to have dozens of more small boils continously appear throughout the rest of my trip.

A third large infection in my nose began to appear in Colombia two days before my trip was scheduled to end. When I returned to The States the infection had grown enough that my upper lip was ridicolously inflated and my family was really worried about me. Again, the throbbing pain was excrutiating enough that I felt like I was going to die. My entire body was sore and I had this constant fierce headache. I was seriously considering flying out of the country again for medical treatment as I don't have insurance at the moment. One night I stayed up not being able to fall asleep because of the pain and started surfing the web on my bed with my mobile. I came across the typical 'western medicine' websites and read people's depressing comments about how they have suffered with MRSA for years and have no hope in site. It really got me down. I googled the same string as before but this time adding 'natural cure' to the end and came across Earth Clinic. Also on the last few days of my trip, of course, I had to go out with a bang and partied non stop which probably caused the most recent one. As soon as I got back family and friends that haven't seen me in a year wanted to catch up so the partying didn't end in Colombia. Another observation was that during my journey through Brazil I fell in love, not only with Brazilian women, but also with their smoothies and drank a couple a day. Looking back, I didn't get any boils while in Brazil though I partied hard there as well. In conclusion Turmeric worked amazingly, it might have prevented me from getting boils, and heavy drinking for a few nights in a row would cause boils to either appear or, if already present, intensified the infection. Turmeric + Boil = Gone

Let me first say i really cant believe how fast this worked. I noticed a sore red spot cropping up on my penis (of all places) Of course it started growing into a boil about 3/8 inch across. It hurt like hell. so:
day 1 - did nothing
day2 - started using Smile's Prid Drawing Slave and taking minocycline.
day3 - it is growing and started to form a head, but still hurts like hell
day4 - this thing flippin hurts and seems to just get worse
day5 - same thing - it has come to a head but no drainage
day6 - i stumble across this web site, and the rest is history.

On day 6, I bought some turmeric and took 1tsp with 1/2 glass water at 11:35 and also made a bandage mixed with turmeric and neosporin. At 1:52 i replaced the bandage with a new one because i notice a small amount of drainage and i am thinking wow - this works. At 3:45 i took another dose and changed bandage - again small amount of drainage. At 6:04 i go to change the bandage and the core is poking out. Holy shyyyte i said. I could not believe it.. so i got some antiseptic and tweezers and pulled the core out. 10:00 that same night i replaced the bandage and took another dose.. and in the morning it is totally gone. Is turmeric the new penicillin? I have had a recurring boil for many years now. I dont want to go get it removed because of the scar. I found this website and got some TURMERIC. It has been hurting recently so i could not wait to experiment. Let me tell you, the pain started to go away and it was almost completely gone within two hours. This stuff is amazing. I used the REXALL caplets and also the paste with warm water. Now I was told mine was due to an ingrown hair that keeps growing in the same area. Does anybody know if plucking it would be good or how do you get to the core?

Hi! I had a huge boil near my bikini like about the size of a golf ball! I was in excruciating pain and after 2 days without any improvement after hot compresses, I was on the verge of going to the doctor to get it surgically removed (which I really really didn't want to do) until I found your website. Immediately took 1 tsp in water and later got the capsules and popped 4 400mg pills in. Also applied some turmeric mixed with honey directly onto the boil. In 24 hours, the boil had shrunk to 1/2 its size and started draining. In 48 hours, the pain was gone! I am truly a believer in turmeric. I have been struggling with a stubborn boil on my groin/inner thigh area for some months now. It would grow to excruciating size to the point where I walked with a limp and had to avoid any clothes items that may rub against it; then shrink away to inevitably return.
