After reading posts on ACV for skin tags and the success of so many I decided to give it a try. Soaked a small gauze with ACV and held it in place with a bandaid. Just wore it thru the day. I removed the bandaid to shower the same evening and to my surprise and delight, the skintag was gone!! Probably 12 hours and it's history. I used Organic ACV. No burning, no discomfort, but wonderful results.

Lemon Oil and Tea Tree Oil and Aloe Gel for Armpit Skin Tags

I've been using myself as a guinea pig to see if this technique worked. I've had clusters of tiny skin tags pop-up all over both armpits for some odd reason. Since it was a skin sensative area and I'm to lazy to apply any ointment several times daily so that's not an option.

I read over on EarthClinic HPV treatment page using lemon oil to treat HPV warts. So I'm thinking to myself there has to be an easy way to apply this so here is what I came up with.

Recipe:

- one teaspoon Aloe Vera Gel placed into a small bowl (I use fruit of the earth brand)

- two drops of Lemon essential oil

- two drops of Tea Tree oil

Method:

Squirt about a teaspoon of aloe gel into a small bowl.

Add essential oils on top of gel.

Use your finger to mix til uniformed.

Apply this mixture equally to each armpit. Do this after morning shower and before bed time (2x daily).

Results:

It has now been 7 days since I started doing this and most of the tiny hard bumps in my armpit are all gone. Only 3 are left but much smaller in size. I will continue this for another week.

Conclusion:

This technique does work and with little effort. Also, I noticed this works great as a deodorant.

I had a couple of tags on my neck making me look like an old woman. Giving them a firm rub with a QTip soaked in H2O2 caused them to foam up and open up. Not going to say it was comfortable - stung quite a bit - but repeat applications for a week dried them out and they scabbed up and fell off.

Going to try ACV and bandaid on less visible ones on my abdomen.

Five stars for effect - no scarring. But I think probably clipping them would be just as painful and probably shorter duration process.

I've had two anal skin tags for several years that were recently getting bigger, one getting longer and the other getting thicker and longer - it was almost like a biggish, round, hard ball at one point. The thicker one was getting so big, I could at times feel it when I was walking, which was a bit scary, to say the least. More were also appearing around the same location (seemed like all of a sudden).

After reading about people's experiences on this site and trying several of the remedies, what has been most successful for me, is apple cider vinegar (with the mother). After trying several different methods, I discovered that filling a cylindrical clear top with acv, e.g. top of hair smoother pump bottle, and holding that over the skin tags allowed them to soak in the Apple Cider Vinegar (which worked better than Qtip or cotton balls). I started doing this 2 times a day for about 5-7 mins. I put vaseline around the area first. They started to immediately get smaller. After a week or so, I also started to drink about 1 and 1/2 tablespoons of acv, diluted in a glass of water, once a day. Occasionally I missed a day with my 'treatment' but it didn't seem to set it back at all. It's now about 10-12 days later and the difference is huge. The two are so much smaller and the ones that had started to develop have just disappeared and the surrounding skin looks normal again. I'll keep up with the treatment obviously, which has had fantastic results. I have had no real discomfort - just have to use the vaseline and I feel so much better! The area looks so much more normal now - amazing to see the develping ones disappear. I tried iodine and tea tree oil, but never really saw any noticeable improvement. Thank you so much to all the people who contributed to this site - your help has been life changing!!

Everyone's body reacts differently to different remedies and I'm happy my body responded positively to apple cider vinegar. My skin tag dried up within a week and I was able to pull it off. I believe if I had been consistent, it would have dried sooner. I soaked the little pad of a band-aid and wore it overnight. if I get anymore that bother me I will definitely use ACV again.

Borax

I have to tell you I am quite shocked. I've been doing 30 mg worked up to 110 mg a day of borax past few months. I started it for my 2 knee arthritis which it has helped I still have pain but it's not the light me up screaming pain when I move it the wrong way. It's also helping my Candida overgrowth which I'm overjoyed about. But what really sets borax apart for me is I haven't read this from anybody yet.… Are you ready for this? Skin tag Yep that's right. I never get skin tags but about 10 years ago I got a skin tag in a private area. And it was a good quarter inch long. It's been there like I said for about 10 years. Well two months into doing the Borax and guess what the skin tag is almost all gone from taking borax orally! I am so happy this stuff is amazing I'm doing 110 mg and I am a woman, but this is a treatment dose, sure I will end up with the maintenance dose once everything feels better.

I have fibromyalgia, chronic fatique and other co issues. Eliminating my Candida overgrowth that I've been fighting for 20 years is just a blessing. This stuff is amazing I started my own Facebook group to give people support we all talk about how great it's been using borax thank you for all you do we use a lot of your videos to encourage people. I just haven't found anybody talking about borax and skin tags again this was orally, I did not apply it to the skin tag that's what really trips me out. I bet if somebody put it on a cotton ball and held it on their skin tags it would work even faster! God bless keep up the good work.

Castor Oil
Posted by Debbie (New South Wales) on 04/24/2022
★★★★☆

Over four months ago, I made a post about how I was able to shrink my anal skin tags with castor oil. I'm making this post to give an update.

When I initially started using the oil, my skin tags shrunk dramatically after just using it for 10 days. However, although the tags continued to gradually shrink as I kept using the castor oil, progress slowed down considerably after those 10 days. During these past four months, there were times when the tags seem stubbornly remained attached to my anal area and refused to go away, despite my efforts to apply the castor oil to them twice/thrice per day everyday. Other times, it seems that the castor oil is having an effect on the tags and is working in dissolving the skin tags as they slowly get smaller and smaller as time goes by.

At the time of writing this post, my tags are now the size of two small grapes, whereas before I started this treatment, they looked like a cluster of grapes.

My current routine now is this: 1) After going to the toilet in morning, I would carefully and throughly wash my tags with water and pat it dry with some toilet paper (then wash my hands with soap). I also have been wiping myself with tissue soaked in a mixture of epsom salt and water 2) I then rub a paper towel against the tags to dry it and remove a layer of skin cells from the surface of the tags 3) Once they're clean and dry, I then massage the castor oil into the tags and cover them with 2 squares of toilet paper (to protect my underwear and pants from being stained with castor oil). When I'm done, I go about my day.

At night before going to bed, I take a sitz bath with epsom salts in water as warm/hot that I could stand for 20 mins. I then pat myself dry, pour the bath down the drain and repeat steps 2 & 3 of the treatment

Pros of using castor oil - It's an easy, comfortable and painless method of removing skin tags. You don't have to go through painful surgery to remove them and it's a remedy you can comfortably do at home. The oil can easily be obtained from a pharmacy, which sells it as a laxative.

Cons of using castor oil - You'd have to be very patient and persistent in your application to remove skin tags with this method. This isn't an overnight miracle cure. In my case, the oil has done an excellent job in making my skin tags much smaller after months of application, but they still remain. Still, I'm optimistic that the skin tags will eventually go away as I continue this treatment.

Also, be mindful that the skin tags will bleed occasionally as the castor oil dissolves the contents of the tags, not to mention that you will also need to carefully wipe away the dead skin cells off before each application. I gave this treat a rating of 5/5 in my last post since it was very effective in shrinking my skin tags. Now, I'm giving it a rating of 4/5 as it's taking ages for the tags to go away.

I just watched a youtube video by a dr who said skin tags might be viral in nature but one thing he pointed out is they are mostly correlated to insulin factors, pre diabetes and type II.

Moxa Mini-Cones (Korean) for Skin Tags

Back in the early-mid 1980's, I had a skin lesion that was not responding to conventional treatment. I showed it to my Aunt and she put this “mini cigarette looking thing with a sticky cushion on one side” (I later learned it was called a mini-moxa used in Chinese medicine). She stuck it over the lesion and lit the cigarette and it burned for about 5 minutes. Stung alittle bite at the end of the burn cycle then she removed it and it left a brownish stain on my skin. A few days later, the skin lesion was gone.

Fast forward 40 years to today, I bought some mini-moxa online. I am using them for flat warts(?) I think that they are not responding to any treatment. Mini-moxa sticks contain mugwort, wormwood and sage.

A friend of mine was complaining about the skin tags he had around his neck. I looked at them and determined that the mini-moxa sticks would fit over them.

Here are the results from just one 5 minute treatment:

Day 2: Tags turned a white color.

Day 3: Tags turned black and hard.

Day 6: Tags fell off!

Greater Celandine Tincture

I noticed a skin tag near my anus a few months ago. I came onto earthclinic and followed some advice offered. I started with tea tree - neat on the skin, a few drops on the palm and then transferred direct and neat onto the skin tag. Did it twice a day, once in the morning and again at night. I kept at it for about two weeks, and much as I would like believe otherwise, it didn't shrink. I gave up with tea tree and left it as is I then tried iodine. I have Lugol's iodine 2%, again, onto my palm and then neat onto the skin tag. Did it on and off every few days but I noticed it got bigger. It seemed to have swelled up and got bigger. I gave up on iodine. I left it as is and figured, at some point in time, I'll head off to the doctor's clinic and get them to nitrogen it. Didn't do anything else for a few more weeks but it definitely got bigger.

By chance, I found a bottle of greater celandine tincture in my drawer. I knew it was warts and stuff but not sure about skin tag and keloids. It was a 15 year old bottle of tincture and I figured there was nothing effective about it but before I threw the bottle out, why not do something with it. I applied again, a few drops to the palm and transferred to the skin tag. Some days later, I checked it and it was shrivelling. The 'plumbness' that it felt was shrivelling. I applied it again. Left it for another two days. it shrivelled more. I applied it twice more, a few days apart each and yesterday, having forgotten about it over the festive season, I could barely find it. It was the size of a raisin previously and it was definitely less than 1/5th of the original. I will apply it again and I am quite confident I can rid of it.

Castor Oil

I have / had A LOT of anal skin tags that were left over after I have FINALLY successfully treated my decade old hemorrhoids that would likely have been chronic (if the underlying cause hadn't been identified and treated). I am currently treating these skin tags with castor oil. Before I get into how I'm treating my anal skin tags, I'll give you a story I got them.

- I have attempted to treat my hemorrhoids via multiple natural means unsuccessfully for about 10 years. They only gradually became worse over time despite my attempts to treat them on my own. I have spoken to my GP before from time to time about this issue, but I often feel like he doesn't take my hemorrhoid problems seriously (possibly because I look young and healthy). Whenever I do see him about this issue, he just gives me generic advice about adding more fiber to my diet and prescribing ointments or creams that at best only provides temporary relief.

- It is only when I was in ALOT of pain (where I wasn't even able to sit or lie down without crying in pain) that my GP finally referred me to lady doctor to check out the condition of my hemorrhoids, who then referred me to a gastroenterologist. It was then that I was diagnosed with prolapsed thrombosed hemorrhoids. He recommended a colonoscopy and banding surgery to fix the issue.

- The wait in between waiting to see the doctor, then the gastroenterologist and then finally the scheduled surgery was excruciatingly painful. That period lasted for months. During that time, I had to postpone any plans to work or study. All I could do is stay at home, manage my condition via sitz baths, adjust my diet and toilet habits to minimise any pain from doing a no.2 and continue attempting to treat my hemorrhoids during the wait. I had asked why I had to wait such a long time to get my problem sorted. The reason I was given was that hemorrhoids are not a life threatening disease, therefore are not a priority for treatment. Not to mention that I'm fairly healthy otherwise.

- During the wait, I was introduced a acupuncturist who had successfully treated other people to had hemorrhoids. He was able to identify the underlying cause to my condition and used acupuncture to treat it. This, along with adjusting my diet (to include probiotics, fruits and vegetables) and adjusting my toileting position to avoid straining, eventually made my bowel movements easier and painless. I cancelled my scheduled surgery in favor of doing the acupuncture treatment, since waiting for the surgery seems to be taking so long and the acupuncture treatment seems fairly successful.

After the acupuncture treatment, I thought I still had hemorrhoids, despite my bowel movements being a lot easier and painless. I still had flesh coming out of my anus and I still have difficultly cleaning the anal area or sitting comfortably on it. At first, I tried diluted apple cider vinegar to treat the flesh. They did slowly get smaller but I didn't enjoy this treatment and it didn't do much for me aside to giving me an uncomfortable burning sensation. Later, I tried just simply applying castor oil to the flesh after reading the posts about castor oil for hemorrhoids on earth clinic. The castor oil seems like a gentler and more effective treatment than apple cider vinegar. I was able to get rid of more of the extra fleshy part of the anal area over time but I still couldn't get rid of it completely.

It wasn't until later that I worked out that these weren't hemorrhoids anymore, but skin tags in the anal area. Because I already seem to have some success with castor oil for treatment, I decided to so some internet research about using castor oil to treat anal skin tags. I learnt that castor oil has the ability to drain moisture from skin tags, causing it to shrink and die off when it is in contact with it. The internet also mentioned that mixing it with baking soda makes the castor oil more effective.

I did try castor oil and baking soda together once only to get a stinging sensation in the anal area. So I decided to just use castor oil on its own. However, instead of just simply applying it to the anal skin tags, what I decided do recently is get some toilet paper, saturate one side with the castor oil and wrap it around the skin tags to ensure that it is constantly in contact with the castor oil all day and night (and changing the toilet paper and castor oil 3 times per day).

- I've been doing the castor oil with toilet paper treatment for about 10 days now. My skin tags were huge and uncomfortable at the start of those 10 days. Now they're a lot smaller and barely noticeable. I still have some skin tags left over, but castor oil as a treatment for anal skin tag removal has been very successful so far. I'll keep going with this for now and hopefully they will disappear.

Another tweezer method for removing a skin tag is to grasp the tag and begin rotating the tweezers around in a circle to break the “stalk”. This can be tricky, as it requires coordination. Go about your life. In several days you will notice the skin tag has fallen off.

Lugol's iodine is great for skin tags. I had 5 pop up after going out in the sun getting some vit d top up. I recently purchased a 1940s violet ray tesla device and it had a little glass wand so I gave them all a dose of nikola tesla electricity they changed colour I then finished off with a dab of lugol's on each one. lugols will work alone but you have to dab on 4 times a day. the violet ray just speeds things along violet ray device can be used for many different ailments

Tea Tree Oil worked for me.

I had a skin tag under my eye for a few years and it suddenly started growing. That's when I decided I had to try to get rid of it. I used a cotton swab with a drop of tea tree oil and dabbed only the skin tag because I knew from a past experience the tea tree oil could redden the surrounding skin. In just a couple of days it scabbed over and I just scratched the dry skin off. It was small after that so I continued dabbing and a couple days later the rest scratched right off.

Every morning after my shower, I put aloe vera and 2 drops of DMSO liquid on the bottom of each foot. One day I decided to also put some of what was on my hands on my skin tag that was on my bra line. In 2 weeks, I found a hole in the skin tag and pulled it off. No scar, no regrowth. And seeing it is constantly being rubbed by my bra especially when I exercise daily....I am so happy I decided to try it.

Cotton String and Apple Cider Vinegar
Posted by Tanja (Los Angeles, CA) on 12/30/2020

I have had this large hanging skin tag in the front of my shoulder for at least a decade and I tried removing it several times in the past years with iodine, apple cider vinegar and even 35% hydrogen peroxide and a tooth floss tied around it. I tried all the remedies from here and I could not get it to work.

Last week I got so sick of it I tied floss around it - soaked it in iodine and apple cider vinegar alternating the two and it just got irritated and got bigger - DAAAMN. Clearly the floss was not cutting off the blood circulation to the tag (and I knew that since I had tried it before....).

BUT THEN I took REGULAR COTTON STRING (like the kind you sew clothes with) and tied that underneath the floss closest to the root of the tag and THAT was the thing that changed everything.

I tied it tight and within 12 hours the tag had started to turn black.

In order to speed up the process. I also soaked a cotton ball in apple cider vinegar and taped it on the skin tag for several hours each day and TODAY, THREE DAYS AFTER TYING THE STRING THE SKIN TAG FELL OFF.

I AM SO HAPPY IT IS GONE OMG! . So USE REGULAR COTTON STRING TO CUT OFF THE BLOOD SUPPLY AND SOAK THE TAG IN APPLE CIDER VINEGAR SEVERAL TIMES A DAY AND SAY BYE BYE TO BIG SKIN TAGS. My skin did get red from the apple cider vinegar but it will heal but you definitely can use vaseline to protect the base of the skin if you have irritated skin.

THANK YOU EARTH CLINIC FOR PROVIDING THIS COMMUNITY!!
