Duct Tape

After months of treatment, with over the counter medicines, including the freezing method which upset my daughter terribly, a simple piece of duct tape on the wart for 4 days took it completely away! How I wish I tried it first! The best part is that my kid didn't mind putting the tape on... she thought it was fun!

I have been plagued by a wart on the middle joint of my pointing finger. it was painful and the acid treatment didn't work. I read about the ACV and decided to try it. After one night with cotton soaked in ACV, secured with a band aide, I was amazed that it was 95% gone! One more night with the same treatment and it is gone... It still is.

When I was about 12, I had a planters wart on the ball of my foot that was about a quarter inch in diameter. My aunt took an uncooked navy bean and rubbed it on the wart and then had me throw the bean in the trash and told me to forget about it and about 2 weeks later the core of the wart fell out and I never had another wart after that.

I have had a wart on my thumb for almost a year. I tried to have to frozen off but that was not working so I looked on this website for home remedies. I initially tried the bananna peel but that did not seem to work for me, so I tried the apple cider vinegar. I put apple cider vinegar on a bandaid and left it on all day. I could tell it was working but the bandaid kept drying out too fast. I then put it on a small piece of cotton ball and put a bandaid over it. That worked so well that it kill the wart in one day. The bandaid by itself was just not mosit enough. Thanks to to website and it's remedies, I'm now wart free.

[YEA] I Had 2 of these warts on the bottom of my left foot for maybe 2 years. Never even thinking they were anything more than calluses. Once I started feeling pain from the walking on the warts for so long (like having a pebble in your shoe). I started looking it up. Long story short. Did a 2 week ACV soaked bandage treatment over night. And it actually worked in about 6 days.

Our son had a wart starting to grow near the cuticle of his finger and it was actually starting to go under his nail. After putting apple cider vinegar on a band-aid and wrapping it on the finger for about one week, the wart was gone and never grew back. Place a new apple cider vinegar band-aid on the wart each night.

I had a raised wart on my back, I took a piece of gauze and soaked it in ACV and applied it right on the wart, covered it up with a piece of duck tape. would leave it on for a couple of days. repeated for about a week or so and the wart started to get all soft and turned green, scaped the dead skin off and mole was gone.

Bad idea! The garlic got onto the surrounding skin (how do you just keep it on the wart?) and my daughters wrist has blistered badly and is very sore!

Potatoes

I had hundreds of small warts, on my hands, and fingers. Also plantars warts the size of quarters on the bottom of each foot. I cut a small piece off of the top of a potatoe, and rubbed it on my warts several times a day, or whenever I had the notion. I wrapped the potatoe in cellophane, and put it in the fridge, for the next use. I did this for a few weeks, then one day, to my surprise, I woke up, and ALL of my warts had disappeared. Gone, just like they disappeared overnight.

I have a wart cure that sounds truly as voodoo, but it works. My daughter had few warts on her hands, which were very irritating, as they kept coming back no matter what we did. My grandmother from Europe sent me a method that has been used to cure warts for centuries: Take a piece of cotton thread, tie as many knots in it as you have warts, then take the thread to some moist, dark place that you do not visit, place it under a rock then leave. When the cotton thread rots, your warts will disappear. I feel quite stupid even writing about it, but it did work, and the warts never came back.

Well, my mother used half a potato for tiny warts all over my knee when I was about 10 and similarly buried the potato in the garden! Same thing happened -- the warts went away within a week. So there is something to these strange voodoo-ish remedies!

One of my mates told me that a method is that you get a piece of uncooked red meat and rub it on your warts and bury the meat somewhere where nothing can dig it up and don't tell anyone you did it otherwise it won't work.

When I was in first grade, I had a wart on my thumb. My mother had told this story that to get rid of it... you had to steal a piece of fat from someone's refrigerator, rub it around the wart 3 times and bury it where it will get wet. My sister who was in 4th grade decided to help me. we took a piece of bacon fat from mother's refrigerator, rubbed it the 3 times and buried it under the rainspout... wah lah... it went away!!! and we were kids doing it.

I had a plantar wart on the ball of my foot about a year ago. After using the acid patches and visits to the podiatrist, nothing worked except this: Cut off a small piece of fat meat (bacon), trim the wart until it bleeds, put some blood on the fat meat, bury the meat and say a prayer believing that the wart is gone. Works every time.

By the time I was 17, I had accumulated more than 250 warts, mostly on hands and arms. My sister told me to rub my hands, arms, knees, feet, wherever the warts were, then repeatedly say "I wish the warts away." Rubbing so many places seemed way too time-consuming. So, every night before falling asleep I collectively thought of all my warts and repeated in my mind "I wish my warts away." I think it took two or three weeks of falling asleep "wishing", but it made me very happy to have a wart-free hand (& body) when I got my engagement ring shortly thereafter.
