Nail Polish

I noticed this wasn't mentioned. I use to have 2 warts near the base of my right thumb. They didn't hurt or irritate, but I hated that everone used to either cringe at them or ask me if the warts were painful when they saw the warts. The wart remover plasters never worked. I read from somewhere that nail polish can help to remover warts, so I gave that a try. I applied clear nail polish to the warts, repplying every so often to ensure that there was always a coating over the warts. The nail polish is a lot less noticable than a wart remover plaster is! I can't remember how long it took (probably just a month or so), but one day as I prepared to reapply the nail polish, I noticed that the warts were GONE. Not a single trace of them was left, and there was absolutely no scaring. The skin looked perfectly normal! I was so happy! It's been 3 years since then, and the warts have not come back.

Potatoes

I used to have warts on the back of both hands. One day someone said to soak raw potato in white vinegar and then put on wart. Do this for 3-7 days and the wart will come off. It worked great and has for a number of others I have shared with. Make sure the potato covers only the wart or your skin will get burned. Potato only needs to soak for an hour or so

Salicylic Acid

Remedy to kill plantar wart on foot. Ten years ago my son had a large plantar wart on the bottom of his foot so I decided to play Dr. and see what happened. The remedy I used is to soak the foot in very warm water (for about 15 minutes) right before bed, dry the foot completely, scrape top of wart gently with a knife, apply alcohol and let dry, apply any drugstore wart remover solution and let it dry, apply a bandaid, wrap in duct tape. Leave on until the following night and repeat nightly for six weeks. This remedy cured my sons plantar wart and it never came back! We were amazed. Consistancy is the key for success in using this remedy. This remedy can also be done immediately after the bath. Hope this remedy helps.

Jade Plant

My 8 year old daughter had a total of 17 warts of varying sizes covering her hands. Our family physician told us about a retired dermatologist acquaintance who swore by this method to remove warts. Slice the leaf from a jade plant so that the juicy succulent part is exposed. Tape or bandage it to the wart (we put it on the first wart that appeared, which was now the biggest, and had combined with one or two more warts to create this huge wart along the side of one thumb, which we called the "mother wart"). We taped the leaf on that wart only, at bedtime, for about 3 nights, and then kind of got busy, forgot, and stopped doing it. During the next week, while washing her hands, ALL of her warts had simply died and started falling off - with no sign whatsoever that any of the warts had ever existed. I've told several friends who tried it with the same results. The strange thing is that we treated only the "mother wart" - and all of them fell off at the same time. Amazing!

Iodine

Just a note after reading send in other cures re iodine. When I was a teenager I developed warts; I never consulted anyone but started putting just a drop of iodine on the warts every day. After about 3 months (maybe less - that was 40 years ago) they turned black and fell off. I've never had another wart. (I've never had a boil either, and hope I never do, but my partner has been bothered by them for several weeks. We're trying several of the remedies on your website. Thanks! It's a great site.

Grapefruit Seed Extract

I had good results using Grapefruit Seed Extract (GSE). I put a small amount on the tip of a Q-Tip and placed it directly on the wart. Be careful not to get too much on the skin surrounding it, as it will burn. If the wart is in a place where it will get covered with clothing, I'd cover it up with a bandaid. This doesn't take long at all. Two or three days should be enough.

i read alot of remedies to remove embarrassing warts and after alot of reading i tried several things like acv 2 a day on warts i tried this every day for a week and some warts did disappeared but others did not i had some that were colored that were difficult to remove and were very itchy at times so i decided to try something different i crushed about 3-4 vitamin c tablets and added about 1 1/2 tsp of natural lemon juice mixed these two ingredients and made a paste i got a few cotton balls and soak the mixture on it then applied this to the colored warts that were more hard to remove i left this on the warts for a while about 30 min while i laid down i got to admit this stings or burns more than the acv but it is well worth it when i got up to remove the cotton ball they had stains i was a little scared but when i checked myself the warts were gone it was unbelievable! this web site is a real blessing !! i hope this info is helpfull and hope everyone stays healthy and gets better.

Castor Oil

Mixing Castor Oil with baking soda, enough to make it like gum, applied directly over the mole or wart will make them go away! Do this every evening with the intent that you are making it go away.

Oregano Oil

I have had a large plantar wart on the base of my foot for several years. Had tried over the counter remedies, went to a foot doctor and nothing seemed to work. I then started using Oreganol P73 (mixture of oil of oregano & extra virgin olive oil) 3 drops onto a band-aid then placing on top of the wart. I did this every day, and after 2-3 weeks the wart dissapeared! Amazing stuff, as the wart I had was very large and I thought I would never get rid of it.
