5-HTP has been known to help not only with depression but also fibromyalgia and other types of pain. Google it. I would also consider iodoral to help with the thyroid. All available online or health food stores.

Seeking Help for Chronic Pain and Extreme Fatigue

Hi everyone,

I am new to this site and find it fascinating. I have always taken supplements and vitamins and have always tried to eat somewhat healthy. I used to be in great shape! I had tons of energy; I could work 40+ hours a week and still had energy to go visit my friends regularly. I am only 33 years old.

Two years ago my health started declining. I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism and began taking medicine, but it didn't, and still doesn't seem to help. I've also been diagnosed with fibromyalgia, degenerative disc disease in my cervical and thoracic spine, and major depressive disorder, to name just a few. I can now only work up to 20 hours a week, but on my days off, all I do is sleep. I sleep 24 hours, almost straight, at least once a week.

I am in constant pain all over my entire body. My skin even hurts. I have tried creams & rubs, muscle relaxers, pain pills, TENS unit, heating pads & ice packs, massage therapy, and physical therapy, but nothing seems to relieve the pain for very long. Please help!!

10 Years of Lax Lower Esophageal Sphincter (LES) and GERD

Posted by Hari S. (Karnataka) on 12/19/2018

I started getting reflux and vomiting in 2008, (Age:19, weight 65). Detected with small sliding component of hiatus hernia with secondary incompetence of LES muscle, with stage 2 Reflux oesophagitis, H. Pylori + and acute gastritis in 2011. Followed by antibiotics and PPI I felt better. But the heart burn was there often. Later started PPI once in 2 weeks to suppress it.

Later again in 2017 redid the endoscopy detected with Lax LES, otherwise normal mucosal study. No signs of hernia and oesophagitis

PPI became a habit and as weight increased to 86 at 2018, complications increased like chest pain and dry coughs in the midnight. Then as suggestions came all side to reduce weight with 6 meals per day of small quantity and dinner before 3 hours sleep and some exercise, I reduced to 78 now.

Parallely I was in strict GERD diet as much as possible avoiding coffee, tea, tamarind and spicy foods. And the most important thing is I was taking the PPI drug along with Domperidone for forward kinetics.

As usual after stopping the drug 2nd day burping bleeching and bloating started again.

I have read many success stories in your forum, kindly let me know your suggestions for me to come out of this issue and make the LES strengthen to perform its function back.

Consider rebuilding bone marrow quantity and quality. This will increase available stem cells for tissue regeneration. Consider hair analysis to determine mineral levels in body.

DEIRDRE,,,,,,,, things are going from bad to worse. Monday night, I slept on my Bio Mat in the loft. About 3am I needed to go to the bathroom on the main floor. In the dim light, I fell and bruised the ribs on the right side going down the stairs. My left arm is where the pain was coming from for two weeks. Now I can hardly breath with out pain from my fall.

I was a young 78 and I fell. Now, I'm an old 82. I was a cut-up, but you can't be a cut-up when you are in pain. It does not work that way.

Today we got our UBI from our integrative doctor and he sent me to get an x-ray of my ribs. I have hope, but when I don't, then that's gone and then we need Dr. Kevorkin. Just makes sense.

We live in a 3 level log home. Old folks only need one level with 4'doors and lots of hand rails. I knew this, but wanted to participate as long as I could. Think, I'm there.

No one should shed grief for me. I have lived a full life. Just got to figure out how best to live....... without a lot of carp from here on out.

Was Head Cheer Leader at Ga Tech and did all the flips and such. Not anymore. It's left...right ....left ....right. KISS....... kept it simple stupid.

I am just about to start the Ofev treatment but have also been interested in the possible use of Cannabis oil as an alternative or an addition tp treatment. You mentioned you were going to talk to your doctor so can you please relay the results of your conversation with him.

Find The Cause for a Chronic Sore Throat

One of the things that I've discovered over my (almost) 70 years, is that whenever I'm having health issues, it often means that I'm doing something wrong. The trick then becomes figuring out what that something is.

In other words, dealing with the cause rather than its symptoms.

With that in mind, I'd like to address the cause of my recent sore throat.

It went on for weeks. My ears were plugged. My glands were swollen. My throat felt like something was stuck in it. I gargled with warm salt water, which had no effect.

And then I finally figured it out. I'd been using a floss threader to clean beneath my dental bridge. Once finished, I'd put the threader into a baggie, still wet, until the next use.

One night, after flossing, I was sitting around and suddenly could barely swallow. That's when I put two and two together. I began cleaning and drying the threader after flossing, and all of the symptoms disappeared. Just like that.

I'd made myself sick by being unaware of my own dumb habits.

What say you?

Turmeric for Cancer

Hi, my dog had a tumor removed off her hip and the vet had to go deeper and did not have a good outcome. I researched and found that turmeric which its main ingredient being curcumin shrank cancerous tumors.

I started giving her 1000mcg of turmeric with some sought of fat, coconut oil was recommended in order for it to be more effective and adhere better in he bloodstream.

She went back to the vet 2 years later for just a check up and had no signs of any cancer, no lumps. He printed out a paper saying the same thing I found. That was 4 years ago and she is still acting like a puppy, she weighs 74 pounds and I give her now 1000mcg every other day.

ALSO, a friend, who is in her 80's was given 4 months to live and put on hospice last January. I started her on turmeric with any fat and she is OFF OF HOSPICE and doing very well. In my research, I found that India has the LEAST amount of cancer in the world. India is the highest consumer of turmeric, they use it on everything as a spice. I take it everyday for arthritis. I know the big pharma is getting wind of this because I have seen a commercial on tv for some med with turmeric in it and the prices of turmeric in capsules has gone up. If this isn't proof of turmeric shrinking cancerous tumors, I don't know what is.....

Tachycardia (fast heart beat) can be related to thyroid issues. The thyroid controls the electrical activity of the heart. You most likely could benefit from the use of iodine added to your supplement regimen. Get Dr. David Brownstein's book, "Iodine: Why You Need It, Why You Can't Live Without It". You start with low dose iodine/iodide of 12.5 mg and work up. Most people in our modern world are iodine deficient because of the depleted soil as well as the addition of bromides to our diet (used in commercial bread making).

Hello Anna,

I know what you mean about approaching this process slowly. I have been on this healing and recovery path for 4 years now, but granted, I was on the cortico steriods which led to my severe candida infection for decades, so I expected a long journey, and I do not want to overwhelm my body, which only sets you back anyway. So listen to your body, it will tell you when it has had enough and you need to slow down or take a break. Although I am not there yet, I am light years from where I started, so I want to encourage you! This forum, has been lifesaving and life changing for me and my family, and I tell everyone about it. I am glad you found something here that will help you as well. God bless and good health! Flower's Mom

Borax Side Effects

I have been taking one teaspoon of borax in 1.5L water. I did a mistake because I knew nothing about dosage and read on a forum that someone was taking this high amount. I have been taking this for about two months which is huge. Now I have no more sperm. I discovered borax could be toxic to the testicles in high doses. Did this happen to anyone?

What you are looking for is the Tetracycline cure. Go to a site called "The Road " and it will direct you to what you need. Amazon carries the original book and then there is a new updated RA arthritis book where they use minocycline which is more effective. You can seek out Drs in your area that use this protocol. I have not tried not myself but it is a low dose long term treatment to kill the infection they believe causes it. Good Luck
